When she kicked Arnold Schwarzenegger's ass on Total Recall I fell in love with her. When she shot out Billy Baldwin's unscalable homage to video voyeurism in Sliver I was crushed, but still impressed by her cool beauty. When she duped the old and ugly womanizer, Michael Douglas, in Basic Instinct, I felt a gush of appreciation for her choice in film work. And when she laughed off a brutal and misguided audience at a Saturday Night Live appearance, shortly after the negative Basic Instinct press, I knew I was hooked.
