Yeah, I will admit it. I watched Melrose Place, and I liked it.
But I have never watched Beverly Hills 90210
...except for the time that I thought I saw sex (or at least the hint of it). Among Spelling's stable of asexual blonde and brunette "teens", a cute, fiery redhead stuck out like an erection in the flacid sea of ungracefully aging actors. When I spotted Angel Boris, aka Miss July 1996, I was already mentally penciling her show's time slot into my Monday evening line-up. (I think that every time she appeared I was expecting a jump-cut to a montage, involving stripping, saxaphone solos, and milkbaths.)
While the stroll down mammary lane was short, especially amidst the belly-T'd, boob-job regulars, I always knew her "change of address" was just around the corner. Even though the ratings rose, Aaron was not about to let his long-in-the-tooth daughter Tori be upstaged by the fair-skinned Floridian.
After five prime time episodes on BH, Boris is making the B-movie rounds. This typical path to retirement could possibly be postponed by a plastic surgeon and a Vivid Video contract, but more than likely will end with a moderate lifestyle financed by an aging businessman with a penchant for burned-out bunnies.
