Following in the Jimmy Choos of ex-E! News anchor, sexy Dagny Hultgreen, Jules A. is no exception to the "as long as they look good" mantra -- and it looks like "The Entertainment Channel" knows how to entertain. Beginning with the brilliant idea to put "The Howard Stern Radio Show" on t.v. (an instant ratings booster), and continuing with the often-run and often-watched, "award-winning" expose, E! True Hollywood Story, E! T.V., like MTV, has come into it's own.
And newly-promoted "Wild On" host/"E! News" anchor Jules A. is positioned for prime time.
While "Wild On" replacement Brooke Burke (is this really her name?) may have a few extra ounces of saline above her belt, squeaky-clean Jules provided the contrast that made "Wild On" seem less like a typical spring break series, and more like a late-night tourism infomercial.
From cute to compelling, somber to sobering, Jules' depth of character shows that she's not just "a bimbo reading a teleprompter" (as shown in her recent E! News coverage of the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon). Layers of makeup couldn't hide her emotions or her puffy, red eyes, and when Co-anchor Steven Kmetko reached over to her, kindly and reassuringly, the typically stolid and unflinching delivery of other news stations seemed inappropriate.
Recognizing a good thing, E! jumped on Jules and awarded her with a new series, "Revealed with Jules Asner". If Jules can put the "talk" back in Talk Shows and pull the plug on shameless self-promotion, then E! got their money's worth with this bubbly, buxom brunette.
