"She's a very great... special, very special person...", was Nick Cage's response when asked about his most recent Ex, Arquette, on the Howard Stern Show. Though currently dating "the King's" daughter, Cage deflected accusations of "collecting" Lisa Marie just to add to his growing Elvis collection.
On maintaining seperate residences during their marriage, Cage said that this was not his decision, and driving from his home to Arquette's was like going down a very long, continuous hallway. Despite the domestic distance, the onscreen filng of Cruz and Cage during the filming of Captain Corelli's Mandolin put the kaibosh on any future reconciliations.

Pat's brother speaks out on Howard Stern
Today on Howard Stern's morning radio show David Arquette, a.k.a. "Mr. Courtney Cox", as Stern calls him, revealed that Pat and Nick have been going through some rough times, but might also work things out.
Who knows how close he is to his sibblings, but Courtney Cock's husband (currently off all drugs; heroin, cocaine, and even pot), sounded fairly positive regarding the reconciliation of his famous sister and brother-in-law, though later became agitated and defensive when callers joked about his marriage to the wealthy Friends star.

Cage and Arquette Divorce
Nicolas Cage and Patricia Arquette's marriage is dead and gone.
Cage and Arquette, who starred together in last fall's gloomy paramedic drama Bringing Out the Dead, and appeared in public as a loving couple, have apparently been living a sham marriage for months.
Yesterday, Cage filed for divorce in Los Angeles, with court papers citing "irreconcilable differences." Cage's petition also requested the court honor a property-division settlement he and Arquette made in early 1996.
That was apparently the date of their true separation, some nine months after their April 1995 marriage.
The Moonstruck actor, who won an Oscar for the 1995 gloomy suicide drama Leaving Las Vegas, dated the True Romance actress just once, back in 1989, but they met up again in 1994 and quickly became a favorite tabloid couple.
Both had been previously linked with other young headliners. Cage had lived with Sarah Jessica Parker and had been engaged to model Kristen Zang. Arquette had dated Christian Slater and had a son, Enzo, from her relationship with musician Paul Rossi.
The marriage united two show-biz families: Cage, 36, is the nephew of The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola; and Arquette, 31, is the sister of actress Rosanna Arquette, currently starring in The Whole Nine Yards, and actor David Arquette.
Cage's publicist said the star had no comment on the divorce proceedings.
