MEATLOAF BACON CHEESE ROLL

~Ingrediants~
*one pound or whatever ground beef
*squeeze bottle of Ketchup
*Minute Rice
*garlic powder or garlic salt
*onion powder or onion salt
*salt (unless garlic salt and onion salt have both been used
*black pepper
*Lawry's Seasoning Salt or other all purpose seasoning salt
*apple cider vinegar
*liquid amino acids or soy sauce
*shredded cheese (mexican mix, cheddar, or other favored blend)
*bacon (about 3 strips)
*large mixing bowl
*cookie sheet
*aluminum foil (heavy duty)
*rolling pin
*casserole dish

~Directions~

  • Place ground beef in large mixing bowl
  • add various seasonings and spices to taste
  • add a splash or two of of apple cider vinegar
  • add a squirt or two of liquid amino acids or soy sauce
  • add several squirts of ketchup
  • cover top of the bowels contents with a generous sprinkling of Minute Rice
  • nead the bowels content thuroughly, until well blended
  • cover cookie sheet entirely with aluminum foil
  • place meatloaf mixture onto cookie sheet
  • roll out the mixture on the cookie sheet with the rolling pin until it is flat and rectangular
  • sprinkle graded cheese evenly, but not excessively, onto the flattened mixture
  • roll the mixture in on itself begining at a short end (jelly-roll style)
  • wrap this roll burrito-style, in the aluminum foil on which it sits
  • transfer aluminum foil-wrapped meatloaf to casserole dish
  • place casserole dish in center rack of oven at 350 degrees for 40 min
  • remove dish from oven and allow to cool to near-room temperature
  • unwrap meatloaf and return to casserole dish
  • cut bacon in half and drape over meatloaf roll
  • set oven to "broil" and return casserole dish to oven
  • emove when bacon is crisp
  • cut into center of meatloaf roll to check for doneness
  • if more time is required cover with aluminum foil and return casserole dish to oven at 350 degrees till done
